Miltecayotl - Farm Workers Food Distribution Project
The Miltecayotl - Farmworkers Food Distribution is a Tonatierra project, in partnership with St. Mary’s Food Bank and the Arizona Food Bank Network. Farmworkers are some of the hardest working laborers working in Arizona’s extreme weather, in order to bring fresh produce to families across the nation. Tonatierra also partners with local community organizations, educational institutions and high school students to bring essential items to the farmworkers, such as clothing, sun protection, diapers, pet food and other much needed resources. Tonatierra in partnership with a community liaison, also advocates for farmworkers rights at the local and state level.
