May the Creator and Giver of Form accompany you, that you may be guided along the white path and be illuminated with clear thoughts, in order to continue working in fulfillment and in exercise of the Rights of the Indigenous Peoples. </P> <P><strong> In our gathering conducted on Jun Toj, the 13th of September 2006, in the city of Panchoy (Antigua, Guatemala) attended by the organizations: CONACAMI, CONAIE, ECUARUNARI, CODENPE, ONIC, CONIIVE, ONPIA and WAQIB'KEJ - we reaffirmed the commitment to organize and develop in continuity to the II Continental Indigenous Summit realized in Quito, Ecuador 2004 the III Continental Summit of Indigenous Pueblos and Nations of Abya Yala which shall be realized the 26th to the 30th of March 2007 in Iximulew, Guatemala. </strong></P> <P> For this reason we join efforts and assemble to be present and participate actively with our delegations in the III Summit, where we can share our experiences of struggle and fundamentally continue the process of strengthening the Indigenous Movement of the Continent. </P> <P> We invite you to join our efforts in developing the processes of organization and dissemination of information in each country in terms of the following themes:</P> <UL> <LI> Land, Territory and Natural resources; </LI> <LI> Autonomy and Self Determination, </LI> <LI> Diversity, Plurinationality, and Sustainable Development, </LI> <LI> Indigenous Knowledge and Intellectual property, </LI> <LI> Multinational and Bilateral Organizations </LI> <LI> Indigenous Nations and Pueblos </LI> <LI> Social Movements, World Social Forum, and Indigenous Women's Participation </LI> <LI> Political Participation and Alternative Government </LI> <LI> Militarization and Para militarization </LI> </ul> Communication and Indigenous Pueblos and Nations <P> The participation of each and all is important in order to strengthen the organizational process of the indigenous movement and for the development of the III Continental Summit of Indigenous Pueblos and Nations of Abya Yala. </P> <P> In the following weeks we shall be circulating more information regarding the organizational process for the summit in Guatemala.
